Located 1.7 km north of Xiaojianxi Village in Hetao Town, Qingdao High-tech Zone, on the south side of the Taoyuan river, this project is part of the expansion of the Xiaojianxi Biochemical Treatment Plant and operates under a concession agreement. It sits within the Xiaojianxi Solid Waste Comprehensive Disposal Park and is responsible for treating kitchen waste from several districts, including Shinan, Shibei, Laoshan, Licang, Chengyang, and the High-tech Zone.
