To effectively manage sorted recyclable waste, PEAKS-ECO has developed an independent process line. First, recyclable materials – paper, plastics, and metal cans – weighed automatically before entering the feeding room. The feeder uses a belt conveyor to sort general solid waste through physical separation, followed by pre-treatment via a rotary screen. Magnetic and eddy current separators then extract ferrous and non-ferrous metals, respectively. Subsequently, air classifiers separate paper, plastics, while optical sorting is used to separate colored glass.
