The pretreatment facility of the Dujiangyan kitchen waste project is located in the Northern Section of the Qingchengshan Tourism Equipment Industrial Zone, at the intersection of Lafarge Avenue and Yongjun Road. The project is designed to handle 200 tons per day, including 150 tons per day of food waste and 50 tons per day of kitchen waste.
The facility features two core pretreatment systems for precise separation and sorting of food and kitchen waste, adopting a wet, mesophilic, single-phase anaerobic digestion process. The biogas generated from anaerobic fermentation is used for combined heat and power generation, ensuring circular energy use. After centrifuge dewatering, the digestate is converted into fertilizer for external sale. Wastewater is treated to meet standards before being discharged into the sewage treatment plant.
The plant follows a “pretreatment + anaerobic digestion” approach to build a comprehensive treatment system. Key systems include:
Together, these systems ensure high-efficiency and environmentally friendly kitchen waste treatment.
