Ballistic separator uses rotating screens to separate waste based on its shape and characteristics, directing it either onto or below the screen. It classifies waste by distinguishing materials like plastic from cardboard, paper, and film. It’s also effective at separating lightweight materials, such as film, from cylindrical items like bottles and cans. Depending on the movement speed, 3D-shaped waste is bounced below the screen, while 2D materials like film and paper are bounced onto the screen, achieving efficient waste sorting.
The ballistic separator can be used for sorting following materials:
Capacity | 13-15t/h |
Installation power | 7.5kW |
Screen area | 2100×5500mm |
Efficiency | ≥90% |
Drive method | Single-side single-point /double-point drive (without coupling) |
Control method | On-site or remote control, with emergency stop switch |
Rotation speed | Variable frequency speed control |
